Health screening camps

Screening finds what silence hides. A short, well-organised check can reveal a condition early enough to be managed, and can tell someone clearly where to go next.

01

Who the programme seeks to support

Our screening camps are open to underserved communities, with a particular focus on senior citizens and on defence personnel who have ENT-related needs.

For many older participants, the barrier is not only money but mobility, confidence and the difficulty of navigating a hospital alone.

What happens during a camp

The intention is a calm, orderly experience with a clear answer at the end of it.

  • Community coordination and prior information about the camp
  • Registration, with assistance for those who need it
  • Basic parameters recorded by trained staff
  • Consultation with the attending medical professionals
  • Written guidance, and referral where further care is needed
  • Documented follow-up where the partner institution allows it

03

What a camp can and cannot do

A camp is a screening and guidance setting. Surgery is not available at every camp, and we do not present it as such.

Any treatment, procedure or referral depends on clinical assessment, the scope of that particular camp, the partner institutions involved and availability.

Clinical responsibility

Screening, assessment, advice and referral are delivered by qualified medical professionals. The foundation coordinates the camp and supports logistics. Screening is not a substitute for a full diagnostic evaluation at a hospital.
