There is room for the time you can actually give

Most of our work happens through people who show up for a few hours a week — feeding, camp support, coordination, documentation. Here are the ways in.

Volunteers preparing for a field visit

Four ways to help

Choose what fits your week

Volunteer

Join feeding rounds, camp logistics, documentation or outreach. Volunteering can be occasional or regular, and you do not need prior experience.

Intern

Structured, mentored placements for students and early-career professionals across programme support, communications and research.

Support the work

Contribute towards feeding, sterilisations, medicines or camp costs. Online payments are not yet enabled, so we share verified transfer details directly.

Partner with us

Hospitals, veterinarians, corporates, schools and resident associations can co-host camps or support a programme component.

What to expect

Practical, supervised, and safe for everyone involved

Fieldwork with animals and with patients at camps carries real responsibility. Volunteers and interns are briefed before a first visit, work alongside an experienced team member, and are never asked to handle clinical tasks.

Medical procedures at camps are conducted only by qualified doctors and audiologists. Veterinary treatment, surgery and medication are carried out only by registered veterinarians.

  • A short orientation call or message before your first visit
  • Clear timing, location and what to carry
  • A team member accompanying you on the ground
  • No handling of injured animals, medicines or patient records without supervision
  • Freedom to step back from any task you are not comfortable with
